One of the many participants of this year’s School of Dialogue  programs is the Władysław St. Reymont Junior High School in Brzeziny. After the workshops, the students had two occasions to establish new fascinating connections. In December, they spoke on Skype with Mrs Ester July, who comes from Brzeziny but is currently living in Tel Aviv. The students had made a movie especially for Mrs July, portraying the contemporary Brzeziny. In return, their interlocutor told them about life there before World War Two.

Yesterday, students of Brandeis University in the USA visited the Władysław St. Reymont Junior High School. After an icebreaker workshop, the students from Brzeziny took their guests on a tour in the footsteps of the Jews from Brzeziny. The meeting was touching and marked the beginning of many international friendships. And we will see the students on the Gala on March 3.
