Before coming to Poland on a study tour organized by Forum for Dialogue I had no idea how much of my own Jewish past is connected with the land of my ancestors. I came back with a resolution that Jews and Poles should be given the chance to learn about the centuries-long history and culture of Jews in Poland prior to the Holocaust to allow them to build bridges of understanding for the future.
