„ The ‘I am…’project was born in April 2006 during an assembly organized in the courtyard of the old Jewish school at ul.Kilińskiego13.Students and teachers of High School no. 6took on roles of their former peers attending the prewarJewish school. Only then were we able to expose ourselves to some extent to the faith of the Jewish citizens of Radom and we got to understand the irreversibility changes that had been  done. There is no and there will be no school like this on our street.”
„Next year, Jakub Zyskind, the only surviving graduate of the Jewish School at ul.Kilińskiego, participated in the ceremonies commemorating the school’s 90th anniversary organized by its Polish neighbors on behalf of the absent students and teachers.

The Anniversary was also a good opportunity to see the society of Radom Jews from a historical perspective during a session organized by the Scientific Society of Radom.  During the event, Mr. Zyskind met with students of our school. He also participated in our “Memories from my school years” seminar. His stories provided the foundations for his memoirs of postwar years, which were written down shortly before he passed away on February 27, 2009”.
