In 2012, together with students from High School no. 3 in Łomża, I worked on a project for Forum for Dialogue’s “School of Dialogue” program. As part of the project, we hosted the Margolis family from the USA, whose ancestors were from Łomża.Our works in the Łomża archives resulted in finding historical records of the Margolis family. We presented these records to our guests. The most important task we completed at that time was publishing a Polish-English guidebook entitled „Traces of Łomża Jews” and producing a film which documented the whole endeavor. We used the guidebook to organize tours for students of local schools. Our guidebook is not a closed project, we constantly try to add new sites connected to the Jewish community in Łomża. Although the “Traces of Łomża Jews” project is now complete, we continuously run guided tours.
