In 2013, our foundation published a report on the condition of Jewish cemeteries in Silesian Voivodeship. There are 65 of them altogether but at 23 of them not a single headstone remains. 51 are state-owned and unfortunately those are among the most neglected. Only 5 cemeteries still serve as burial sites.
