Since 2016, Borussia Foundation has been organizing the “Mendelsohn Festival” in Olsztyn – an international event fostering Polish/Jewish/German dialogue and initiating debates on social and cultural transformations in Poland and abroad. The festival is intended to promote civic forums and initiatives created in the spirit of dialogue that have an impact on local communities, and to initiate discussions on the role of creatives (artists, architects, cultural experts and activists) in forging social change.

Masuria and Warmia region’s shared history and heritage is a starting point for various artistic and educational activities (concerts, plays, meetings, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and film screenings) intended for different audience groups that are to sensitize them towards diversity and offer an experience of interacting with the other and another culture.
