Global problems of conflict, inequality and discrimination are a real educational challenge for students, teachers and parents. Therefore, during the project I conducted interactive workshops developing mediation competences of students. This allowed me to create a group of peer mediators, who try to solve conflicts in a group of their peers (I intend to introduce this element into the educational program of our school). The second workshop was addressed to teachers of various subjects to learn the Marshall Rosenberg’s non-violent communication method. For the last anti-discrimination workshop, I invited parents of students participating in the project. Together with the students and parents, we prepared T-shirts and bags with sustainable development goals and a mural with “Together for Peace” sign. The students also paid a study visit to Poznań and visited the Jewish community, the Muslim Center and watched the film “Utoya, July 22”. They also took part in Days of Jewish Culture in Żory – To Bring Memory Back.
