Murowana Goślina

The project was part of an international Centropa program “Surviving in Sarajevo” with the support of the Galicia Jewish Museum in Krakow. Together with the senior citizens from the “Zacisze” Senior Club in Goślina, my students went on four days trip to Mazury to Camp Rodowa – the heart of Mazury. We created a space to talk, discuss and get to know each other. We compared experiences of different generations. We worked in five small groups. Each day we worked on a different topic with three time perspectives: past, present and future. We started with the theme of family and childhood, then moved to friendship and love, and finally talked about our passions. We had workshops on identity, contemporary challenges in intergenerational relations, civic participation and alcohol prevention. Our stay in Mazury ended with a canoeing trip to Krutynia.
