Kamil Kmak is a community worker, a regionalist, the author of the Grybów Community Archive and founder of the “Saga Grybów” association. He co-created a biography of a boy from Grybów who survived the Holocaust (“The Horse Adjutant”, 2011), he also records interviews around the world with former residents of Grybów, and, since 2013, he has been keeping the local Jewish cemetery clean and orderly. During 10 years of queries, Kamil Kamak has gathered over 3,000 names and surnames of individual Grybów Jews, including 1770 Holocaust Victims.

He creates groups and websites bringing together people of different religions and affiliations, including 30 families of Grybów Jewish Survivors, including the deported Lemko minority. Kamil Kamak is preparing to publish of the first ever “Memorial Book” of the Jewish Community of Grybów.
