Recovering matzevot fragments in Końskie

In March 2018, in a yard featuring a demolished technical building in Końskie, built in 1942 by the Nazis, I noticed fragments of matzevot in the lingering rubble. I photographed them and notified a regionalist working at the city council in Końskie, Mr. Krzysztof Woźniak.

With the permission of the site’s owner, the matzevot fragments were removed from the yard, secured and deposited at the district office in Końskie.
