Mszana Dolna
The project envisions the commemoration of the Mszana Jews murdered in the Holocaust with a commemorative tombstone. The stone will bear inscriptions in Polish and Hebrew. Its official unveiling will take place on August 7, 2022, on the 80th anniversary of the murder of Mszana Jews. Many guests and descendants of Mszana Jews have announced their arrival.
The preceding day will feature a presentation titled A Story about Jewish culture. This cultural event will include a concert of Klezmer music by the Klezmorim Trio, as well as calligraphy workshops (Polish and Hebrew) and a presentation of Jewish holidays with a tasting of Jewish dishes.
The Leaders of Dialogue program, including grants and scholarships, was financed thanks to the generosity of Friends of the Forum, Ledor Wador Foundation, and individual donors and institutions from Poland and abroad supporting Forum for Dialogue. Scholarships for personal development are possible thanks to The David and Anna Dlugie Kliger Scholarship Fund.
