The project seeks to commemorate and popularize the Jewish heritage in Zbąszyń. An information plaque will be erected at the site of the Jewish cemetery, which will raise the awareness of the inhabitants about the history of this place. The commemorativeactivities have been planend for late August and September. The creation of the plaque will be accompanied by several activities addressed to the local community, such as a historical walk, workshops on the life and culture of Zbąszyń Jews for elementary school students, a movie screening in the local cinema, and a theater play.

The official ceremonies will be attended by local authorities and representatives of the Jewish community of Poznań and by descendants of Zbąszyń Jews (online).

The Leaders of Dialogue program, including grants and scholarships, was financed thanks to the generosity of Friends of the Forum, Ledor Wador Foundation, and individual donors and institutions from Poland and abroad supporting Forum for Dialogue. Scholarships for personal development are possible thanks to The David and Anna Dlugie Kliger Scholarship Fund.
