I implemented this initiative together with my wife, family and friends, in cooperation with the mayor of the town. We have been organizing anniversaries for many years, but it was the first time when I became actively involved in their organization. Due to pandemic restrictions, nobody who could recite Kaddish in Hebrew made it to participate in the event, so I did it, in Polish. I also read out some of the names of the Victims; my initiative was to broadcast the ceremony online – that way many descendants and other interested individuals could take part, which was a great organizational success. For the first time a group of Gorce Scouts participated in the ceremony, which we found to be very valuable for us.
