In September 2016, Jewish community leaders from the US visited Rabka in the course of their study tour to Poland organized by Forum for Dialogue. A very special event in the itinerary of the trip was the first Shabbat dinner hosted in Rabka in 74 years, which brought together study tour participants, Leaders of Dialogue from the region as well as their families and other invited guests.

Together we reflected on Shabbat, sang songs and lit Shabbat candles. It was a memorable evening for all participants. The following day we reconvened to tour sites connected with Rabka’s Jewish history.
