Conferences

The Fourth Nationwide Leaders of Dialogue Conference was organized between April 15-17. Fifty activists and educators who work to preserve Jewish heritage in Poland and teach about it gathered in Warsaw to discuss their experience and share best practices. The event started with a Shabbat service at the Nożyk Synagogue in Warsaw. The participants also had an opportunity to discuss with Chief Rabbi of Poland Michael Schudrich. On Saturday, the conference participants worked in groups during workshops, and in the evening they met over dinner with a special guest, Professor Jan Tomasz Gross.

Then on Sunday, a discussion panel was organized with such guests as Jacek Kozłowski, former Governor of the Mazowieckie Province, Barbara Imiołczyk, the former head of Local Government and Regional Policy Commission of the Polish Parliament, and Jarosław Zatorski – the former Mayor of Chmielnik. The conference was concluded with a meeting with special guest, the Polish Ombudsman Adam Bodnar.
