A Community of Changemakers
Apart from teaching Polish, Agnieszka Pollak-Olszowska educates about Jeiwsh history and culture. She is also a journalist working for the local online newspaper, where she publishes articles on local Jewish heritage. Her educational and social activities aim to fight intolerance and antisemitism, so often the result of ignorance and lack of opportunities for various demographics, including seniors or mothers of small children.
She will use the funds to purchase a laptop necessary for remote teaching, but that she will use to create articles on the Bielsko-Biała Jewish history, as well as continue her international projects. The equipment will also help her continue to set up and maintain the fanpage of the Bielsko-Biała Jewsh community and promote her projects online.
