On October 6, 2016, in anticipation of the upcoming visit of Paula Sawicka, friend of dr Marek Edelman from Zagórów, I met with King Jadwiga middle school students to talk about Edelman’s story and values. Students expressed very mature opinions on issues pertaining to authority, patriotism, nationalism and the question of evil. I provided an overview of books about Marek Edelman and handed out fragments of his quotes which we interpreted as a group.
