Beata Łuczak

Warta

Leaders

She is a Polish teacher in the Capt. Col. Stanisław Skarżyński Primary School in Warta. Beata Łuczak actively promotes knowledge of the history of the Warta Jews, especially among her students. For several years, she has been working on her original educational project titled “Ireneusz Ślipek – a bridge between two cultures”. Thanks to her efforts, students at the local primary school can participate in the SCHOOL OF DIALOGUE educational program, as part of which they compiled a guide titled: “Following the footsteps of the Warta Jews”, a map in the form of a town map under the same name, which is located on the market square in Konin and its virtual route. Moreover, she is one of the founders of the Ireneusz Ślipek Association in the aid of Polish-Jewish dialogue in Warta. Since the establishment of the association (in December 2018), she has been actively taking care of the Jewish cemetery in Warta, making sure it is in a dignified condition.
