A chartered teacher of the English language in the Tuszyn Primary School. He managed to bring back the remembrance of the Jewish cemetery in Tuszyn over the span of three years. Robert Kobylarczyk has raised funds for a 5-ton boulder, on which a plaque of the National Heritage Board of Poland reading “The location of a Jewish cemetery” was placed. With the help of Moshe Lasman, son of a Tyszyn Jew, he created a plaque with surnames of Tuszyn Jews and also placed it on a stone. He is an advocate for the legacy of Jan Karski and he shares it with his pupils. Robert Kobylarczyk enjoys working with children and teenagers and he knows how to get through to them; he tries to have an influence and change of the younger generation by helping them to build competences that are key for their development. He has been teaching English for over 20 years and continues to look for inspiration to support young people. Together with Maciej Czapicki, he has created a board game about individuals rescuing Jews during the Second World War. Through his actions, he enhances the quality of the public space.
