Aneta Szymańska, a Leader of Dialogue from Pułtusk, organized a March of Memory commemorating the 79th anniversary of the deportation of Jews from her town. Attended by over 200 people including descendants of Pułtusk Jews from abroad, representatives of local authorities and cultural and educational institutions, as well as many young people, it was the very first such event in Pułtusk. A very moving event brought back the memory of Pułtusk Jews, whose voice could be heard thanks to the passages read by local kids and teenagers from letters sent by Jewish kids to Janusz Korczak Review, Sam Domb’s recollection of his mother’s death during the deportation, a recollection of the Ginsberg family, and a testimony of Josef Branszpigiel about the evil events that happened at the bridge in Pułtusk.
