Leaders of Dialogue Regional Support Group meetings are an opportunity for networking and finding inspiration for activism in service of Polish/Jewish dialogue and commemoration of Jewish heritage in Poland. They are also a chance for the activists to know each other better in a community of likeminded individuals.
The Mazowsze group spent a weekend in Pułtusk (July 9-11, 2021), hosted bya local activists Aneta Szmańska. The key points of the meeting were a walking tour of Jewish Pułtusk and a Shabbat dinner with Izabela Rivka Foremniak from the Beit Warszawa synagogue. The group also met with Piotr Dampsen, a Pentacostal Pastor, and had an online talk with Gil Stein, an Israeli with roots in Pułtusk engaged in Polish/Jewish dialogue. On Sunday, a part of the group visited the temporary exhibit at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews “Wilhelm Sasnal: This Landscape.”
Leaders of Dialogue Regional Support Groups are financed by Friends of the Forum, Ledor Wador Foundation, and individual donors from Poland and abroad.
