Łukasz Parus

On April 18, 2013, students from Zagórów’s School Complex along with two chaperones (vice-principal Adam Wojtczak and history teacher Łukasz Parus) participated in the March of Memory held on the premises of the former German Death Camp in Chełmno on Ner. The march was organized on the occasion of Memorial Day for the Victims of the Holocaust and Prevention of Crimes against Humanity.

Commemorative celebrations were attended by schoolchildren from many schools, government representatives, local residents and invited guests. Participants paid tribute to the murdered Jews by lighting 6 symbolic lights that would commemorate the 6 million Jews who died in the Holocaust.
