Project entitled “Retracing Human Rights – By Learning About Our Past, We Create Our Future”

In June 2014, together with my students, I participated in a project entitled Retracing Human Rights – By Learning About Our Past, We Create Our Future conducted as part of the Polish-Lithuanian Youth Exchange Fund. The project’s theme was connected with human rights observation. Project activities included a visit at Schindler’s Factory, branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow, together with a group of Lithuanian students that we had invited.

We were also introduced to the collections at Galicia Jewish Museum. Students participated in workshops on the history and culture of Polish Jews and met with witnesses of history: former prisoners of the Auschwitz camp.
