Jacek Koszczan is the founder of the Association for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in the Dukla Region – Shtetl Dukla. The Personal Development funds will allow him to purchase a good-quality laptop computer with software, essential for activism – keeping the memory of Dukla Jews alive. Jacek Koszczan has a rich collection of information about Dukla Jews – with the help of the free OSA program (Open Archiving System) he will classify his rich material.
Jacek conducts lectures in schools, prisons, open-air museums and guide groups. The purchased computer equipment will also be used to create and prepare lectures and presentations in visual forms. This will also be an essential tool to work on a publication on the history of Dukla and its surroundings.
