Part of my responsibilities include holding presentations about Upper Silesia’s remaining Jewish heritage and about Jewish sites within the Silesian voivodeship. I also hold sessions for school students about history of Judaism, local Jewish community and multiculturalism in Silesia region.
I am responsible for documentation work for art conservation purposes and pen articles raising awareness of the Jewish heritage (cemeteries, synagogues, batei midrashim, etc.) Upon request of the Voivodeship Conservator-Restorer of Historic Buildings and Monuments I document Jewish heritage buildings and sites. I am currently working with a team of specialists to design the permanent exhibition on the history of Jews in Upper Silesia that will be opened in Gliwice.
