For the past few years I have joined Michał Rapta on research about Rabka’s Jewish history, which we conduct through interviews with the last living eyewitnesses to those times, searching archives and prewar press. We have achieved a considerate success – just five years ago there were many undiscovered sites and topics even in the area of the main square. Today we have information about almost every single building – who lived where, what was their profession, how big was their family and what happened to them.
