The project implemented the idea of partnership not only on the local level (cooperation with many organizations and institutions), but also on global (participants from different youth organizations from Russia, Germany, Lithuania). After many years of efforts coming from different sides, the project participants prepared two memorial sites – the former Evangelical cemetery and the Jewish cemetery. The initiative received support from the local community which came to the unveiling ceremony of two commemorative plaques and a joint prayer of Jews, Evangelicals and Catholics. Finally, it was possible to commemorate followers of different religions who lived in Murowana Goślina before the war. We presented the multicultural past of our town built upon traditions of three religions and cultures to our friends from Germany, Russia and Lithuania, and we encouraged them to explore the contemporary values of Murowana Goślina and Wielkopolska region.
