In 2011 and 2013 I was a local coordinator for Israeli school group visits in Narewka. The meetings are held every other year and were initiated by Israeli teacher Israel Birenbaum, who comes to Poland with his school students to attend March of the Living and stops in Narewka, where his ancestors one lived. In the course of the meeting, students integrated with local students at my school and tour Narewka as remembered by Mr.Birenbaum’s father and grandfather.
