Dębica
In the years 2006-2007 I was invited by a local high school to become an advisor for a group of five students participating in ThinkQuest competition organized by Oracle Education Foundation for designing a website devoted to local history. The five students chose to focus on the history of Dębica’s Jews.
I assisted them in preparing entries, translations into English and finalizing the project. As a result, an interesting multimedia website was created that garnered positive reviews. A few of the students who participated in the project developed a deeper interest in Jewish matters and went on to major in Jewish studies at the university.
