Zamość
In May 2016, we received a group of students from University of Western Ontario in Canada, who came to Poland as part of the project “Representing the Holocaust: Memorials, Museums, and National Memory in Poland”. Local high school students talked about the Jewish history of Zamość and their activities to commemorate the Jewish community and then led a guided tour through Jewish Zamość.
In July 2016, School of Dialogue graduates from High School no.2 met with American teachers whose study visit to Poland was organized by Forum for Dialogue in cooperation with Facing History and Ourselves and the Polish Embassy in Washington, DC. Guests were shown around Zamość and then participated in a Shabbat dinner in Szczebrzeszyn.
